What is Nomad Money?

Nomad Money is a digital borderless banking app, making it easy and safe for everyone to access, send and store money from anywhere in the world.

We’re building a multi-country, multi-currency current account that lives on your smartphone and gives you control of your money.

An account will come with a debit card and an app.

How are you different to other banking apps?

We’re fundamentally different because our entire experience is designed around your smartphone and unifying your current accounts on one app.

We’re focused on making the best global mobile current account that you’d ever use, rather than trying to sell you a tonne of other things that you might not need.

When can I try it?

Download the Nomad Money app, sign up to our waiting list and you’ll be the first to know. We’re currently in early testing with a handful of users, but we’ll be expanding our trial to invited users in the next few months.

Are you regulated as a bank?

We’re not a bank, well not yet but we’re currently going through the authorisation process with the national regulators in the UK and Nigeria with the aim of securing the appropriate banking licences.

Over the next few weeks and months, we’ll use this blog to introduce the team that’s building the banking app, and give you early access to some of the features we’re most excited about.
